Trip Summary

8/26 - I fought the weather and the weather won.... Really tried to duplicate yesterday. But boy that was tough. Not that the forecast ever came true...Winds and rain. But yep, the weather change won. Tried the Jetties, and the Jetties won. Yeah we caught fish. Just not enough in my book. HAD A GREAT CREW, FROM FISHINGBOOKER.COM lost a few other BULL REDFISH, too. We had fun, none the less. Turned out the 4th crew member punked out to sleep in. -Jacks -Ladyfish -Mangroves -Cats -Giant Rays -Whiting were just a few species. I can tell a tough day by how many times I drop and pull anchor. Today it was a lot.! guess the weather is being effected by the Texas hurricane? Tomorrow is Small CRAFT CAUTIONS, offshore and just plain windy inshore, I guess. next up for me is maybe Monday. SUNDAY - 8/27 East northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet with occasional seas up to 8 feet. Dominant period 6 seconds. Inland waters a moderate chop. Showers likely and isolated thunderstorms.
