Noosa Wrecks Trip

Trip Info

The Pacemaker left Tin Can Bay for a trip 40 miles east off Noosa Heads. Conditions were absolutely fabulous and through the night we drifted with a parachute re-setting every few hours. Once the bite came on we bagged out on Snapper. We changed our rigs and baits and started catching Hussar and Pearlie. After filling the esky, we all decided that starting the freezer and catching more fish was senseless. We had sufficient fish to feed our family’s and friends. One recipient of a fresh reef fish was an older citizen whose husband is no longer able to fish. At first she was stunned, but the next day she came back to the Thirsty Camel and gave Jo-Anne a big hug and thanked us all. Now that is why we love fishing.
