Trip Summary
The Gator Boys from Louisiana came up and put in work on Table Rock today.
Water temp at the dam was sitting right at 47–48 degrees, so we had to slow down and grind for them, but they were ready for it.
We caught them shaking a minnow and cranking. The bite wasn’t fast, but it was steady when you did things right. Cover some water with the crankbait, then slow it down and shake that minnow around the right areas and they’d load up.
The Trika 10X rods and reels were dialed in today. In that cold water, sensitivity makes all the difference, and when they bit, those rods let you feel everything.
The Louisiana boys showed out, adjusted to the conditions, and Table Rock rewarded them.
