Big Tarpon and huge snook have been around and biting welk as of the last couple weeks. It's hot out there no doubt but not many complaints from my anglers because the fish are keeping their minds off of it. The Tarpon have been pretty ferocious and the Huge Snook as well.

Its been mostly Tarpon catching over the last month with some Nook fishing mixed in. Long time Angler of mine Gary on the last hour of his second trip of the week of strictly Tarpon fishing asked if we can switch it up and try his luck on Snook. He got a Beast! Great job Gary!

Me catching a Big Tarpon while taking advantage of a day off while we had some Great weather. Well some days have been Great and some not that great but none have been bad. The weather and water temperatures affect the fishing here more than anything. As cold fronts move through the temps drop and we target fish that like those temps but when the water warms up that's when great things can happen because all our game fish that I mostly target get real happy. Always something to target that's why it is important to hire a guide with the proper boat to fish these shallow waters and over 30yrs Fishing Florida flats and back country.
