Trip Summary

I’m getting a ton of emails and texts lately with everyone asking the same question. Is it worth coming down to the Keys to fish this year? I have one answer. YES! The hotels are open, the restaurants are open, the calendar of events is rocking and yes, the fishing has been amazing. The offshore troll is harvesting wahoo, tuna, Mahi and the reef is just non stop fishing. Snapper, mutton, kings, yellowtail, cero, cobia. You will catch an assortment of fish. As of yesterday, Dec. 8th, I took a ride out on the gulf side, the back yard. Amazingly there was an absobident amount of life and the island mangroves and fisheries are going to be booming this winter and spring. If you love to sightfish, this should be music to your ears. The tarpon, Permit, Bonefish and redfish will be stacked. Get down to the Florida Keys and fish!
