Summary

Been starting most trips at 6 - 7 a.m. to look for early morning Tarpon. On this day it was an easy fish, first bait in water was eaten immediately, so we had the rest of the day to look for Bonefish, the other fish my clients wanted to catch. We went on the flats and found many nice sized Bones, mostly in the 4 and 5 pound range, being one of the fastest fish in the ocean that is a good size on light casting tackle. Our best fish was caught out of a school of about 50 fish and was caught on fly. Great day in Lower Florida Keys.
