Trip Info

The fishing report is brought to you by “Fishing with Bernie” ( The rivers are dropping (again) and the fly fishing is AWESOME!!! Wet flies and dries in the evening are catching lots of fish on the area rivers. The area lakes are fishing very good lake trout continue to hit small jigs, power minnows or Gulp produced very well last week. Rainbows and Browns are hitting small spoons near the shore in the evening. As the fish are rising cast your spoons to their ring. Powerbait along the lake shores have been catching lots of 12-14” rainbows.  Grand lake is fishing very well for 15-20” lake trout along with an occasional large fish. Browns are still cruising the shorelines, crank baits are working well. Swimming jigs during the day and topwater plugs in the afternoons have been working very well for Williams Fork pike.
