Trip Info

Summary

Fly fishing trip for bonefish, we headed to some nice sandy flats that wet the edge of the gulf and started push poling the boat. We noticed a sting ray coming onto the flat and I saw something following it. I had my guy cast right on top of the ray and as soon as he did he had 6 bonefish rush his fly. With a couple jigs of the shrimp fly it was eaten and he had a nice FLORIDA keys bonefish on an eight weight fly rod. We saw more but never got close to any, the rest of the day.
