Finally back at sea.

Finally after 3 months in port we get back to sea. Swordfish all sparkly after a huge clean up and Estuary Fisher had a make over too…We had seven anglers aboard and left Darwin bright and early and steamed to our fishing grounds. The weather was kind to us except the water was pretty cold at 20degrees so the Barramundi fishing was hard. However one chap managed to land a metrey…Nice work. Reef fishing produced a couple of nice Jewfish and huge cod. There was plenty of Tricky snapper for dinner and some red emperors, coral trout, golden snapper of good size and GT,s. The boys also picked up several mackerel trolling with hard body lures, another great effort. The crab seem to like the cold as the pots havested every check..the mud crab meal is always good. All in all a fun tour with a great bunch.
