Tarpon Fishing on Fire!

September 07, 2015 by Jason Sullivan

Trip Info

This is the time of year with some of the best baby tarpon fishing in the Everglades.  We are hooking lots and lots of fish each trip out, both on fly and light tackle.  These baby tarpon range from 5 lbs-25lbs.  The will absolutely destroy topwater baits, which makes this style of fishing so exciting.

The redfishing on the flats has also been really good lately.  The are tailing pretty aggressively in really shallow water.  Any well placed offering usually get a bite from these tailing and mudding redfish.  This is some of the best fishing of the year!
