Tarpon Fishing on Fire!

Trip Info

Late summer and early Fall is what I consider our second tarpon season in the Everglades.  We are in full swing right now!  This tarpon are anywhere from 5lbs-100+lbs and in most situations are very willing to eat just about anything.  One of the many reasons I love the Everglades is because you can fish for tarpon more days than anywhere else in South Florida.  The redfish and snook fishing is also getting really good with our bait that is moving down the western coast of the Everglades.  Flamingo is a such a short ride from Miami and is definitely the place to be as far as fishing goes this time of year.
