Much damage has been doen to our community but some places are open to stay and restaurants to eat and the beach is still beautiful. Contact us today for your next fishing trip. Greater amberjack are still open as well as vermilion snapper, groupers, and other reef fish. Some boats did not survive but will be replaced so hopefully the whole fleet will be back.

Obnoxious customer on 4 hour trip with b
Obnoxious customer on 4 hour trip with b
June 30, 2023
Charlie Cooper, **hidden content**, booked a 4 hour trolling trip with me from 1 to 5 pm for today. 6-30-23 on 6-26-23. I list his ph contact so others can identify him should he try to book with another for hire charter. I had a previously booked 8 hour trip from 5 am to 1 pm this same day. Upon arrival to my vessel at 4:15 am this morning and checking my engines and other components as I do everyday to ensure a safe trip, i found a watwr leak on one engine. I replaced the broken hose and repaired all to good working order. After, we boarded the party and left the dock at 5:20 am. We had a good trip with happy customers even though we left 20 minutes late. When returning from that trip i contacted Mr Cooper at 12:52 pm when i got in cell range to inform him we would be about 30 minutes or so late. We arrived to the dock at 1:35 pm, took care of the customers and their fish, and boarded the Cooper party and departed at 2 pm. We tried trolling for a little with no success so since there were several small kids in the group decided to try some bottom fishing to catch pin fish, squirrel fish, and other fishes that are close in. We ended up catching 3 nice red snapper, 3 real nice bonitos, 1 Spanish mackerel, along with several of the above which we discarded. A Big note here is that all 4 hour trips are trolling and the trip is listed that way on fishing booker and i always send a reservation confirmation with all info about the type trip booked. On the way back to the dock, where we arrives at 6 pm, 4 hours after we departed, two of the obnoxious customers began complaining abiut every aspect of the trip including complaining about only 3 red snappers. I explained that catching red snappers on a 4 hour is a bonus as they saw you cannot get far enough offshore on a 4 hour trip to do much good which is why i do not book 4 hour bottom fishing trips. I told them to next time find another boat as they would not be allowed on mine and when we got to the dock to get off my veesel. I am listing this as a report as there is not a way i can provide a review of customer actions like customers can provide a review of their trip. B B B
