Trip Info

It was a MONSTER BIG day on the water yesterday with Captain Jeff Hughes, A fabulous Fort Myers Shark Fisherman. The Tarpon Express became the Black Tip Express.
Total we caught 8 BIG Black Tipped sharks out front of the island. These sharks were around 60 pounds or better. Like Progressive….It was the Best Day! Lots of other species too.
I’ll have pics and video coming soon but we are going back today.
Call Tide Walker Charters today where Every Trip is an Adventure.
Let’s Go Fishing
Note From Captain Russ: We were drifting, following bait balls in 15 feet of water on the deep end of the island. 5’ - 200 lb. Braided wire leader with an 8 ought circle hook, Penn 950 spinning reels. Cut lady fish chunk bait drifting with 1oz weight above leader. If we were out of the bait balls we got no bite. Also, these black tip sharks would hit a 1 oz silver spoon near the bait balls.
