Trip Info

We had a really nice bunch of anglers with us once again. All the guys being very excited to be travelling with us. As keen anglers we loaded up their gear and set off to the first fishing stop. After a hearty breakfast they set out to catch some Mackerel. Within a short time the lines were being hauled in and a dozen or so Mackies were in the esky. Fantastic we all enjoyed fresh Mackerel for dinner. We traveled again thru the night and were up early to fish the local region. The barra have been abit hard this season but this trip proved if you work for them they are still there. The boys pulled up some nice fish, with the biggest at 105cm. They caught a number of barra at 86, 72 and some smaller ones and soon had their quota. Baked whole Barra on the menu is always enjoyed. Most were caught trolling with deep diving hard body lures. On the way home we stopped again for a morning of reef fishing and they came home with some nice coral trout, tricky snapper, parrot fish and some others to fill up the fish boxes. No breakdowns and no medical emergencies making this a fun and succesfull tour…..Thanks Guys.
