Everglades Fly Fishing Report

Trip Info

I have spent the last 3 days down in the Everglades fly fishing in the backcountry. Fishing still continues to be pretty good for all 3 species, snook, tarpon, and redfish. There is a ton of bait on the coast right now, and a lot of fish are out there working those baits. We had an awesome few hours yesterday afternoon at the end of the day. We found a little pocket where we had a baby tarpon blitz. They were going nuts on some bait and we ended up hooking 6 or 7 on fly. A lot of fun and a great way to the end a day!
