Trip Info

The storms we had actually pushed up more warm water from Mexico. With our local water temp at 68.9 F. We had scores of Yellow Fin Tuna at the 209 mark and Skip Jack Tuna. The Yellow Tail fishing is also only getting better in the Box Canyon area. This is truly a record breaking year .

Tips* The Tuna were found in deep water off of some porpoise chunk bait to bring up
Skip Jack tuna were taken on feathers on the troll
Yellow Tail . Meter in hard bottom areas at 180-280ft then fish dropper loop style .

Good luck - JR
