Trip Summary

Set out of port Mansfield, Texas and headed south! We chased redfish for two hours stumbling on a couple redfish on each wade. We threw plastics till our arms felt like jelly, wind was cranking! Guys able grab a limit we started waist deep throwing kwiggler paddle tails in brown water. Taking a full days worth of work we caught plenty of keeper size trout. Over GOOD, because we caught fish in every spot! Breezy spring hasn't been bad at all.

Despite windy conditions South Padre offer is protected waters that hold good water clarity. This day was one of those days where the wind didn’t stop blowing but the fishing was still consistent. Guys were able to catch some nice fish.

Crew from out of town had a great time in south, padre and Fishing with me. We left the Doc early in the morning and start the day catching smaller fish as the wind picked up the bite did to. Everybody caught fish and left with a smile as we had a incredible day of fishing.
