The Catch

Today was a little cooler than normal with the temps starting at 49 DEG. so I asked my clients to meet me at 9 am. It seemed to be a good idea because as we got to the first spot the fish started to warm up as the sun warmed the water and heated the bottom. The first few fish were not the target species but was fun none the less, soon enough the main player came calling. Yes the famous REDFISH!!! Decided to eat one of the baits and put up a fight. After a few minutes of TUG-A-War we landed him… nice little redfish I might add… The boy was very happy!!!

The fish was caught on a cut piece of bait soaking on the bottom with a 3/0 circle hook.

This is a pretty common day hear in the sunshine state in January.
