The Catch

I had no charter today but I would prefer to be on the boat than stuck on land. Today would be just my wife and I so we decided to make a run offshore to try for wahoo which are here year round but winter through spring are the peak months and with the fantastic run of fish we are having our chances looked very good. Within 10 minutes of putting lines in we boated a nice wahoo, a few minutes later a couple Blackfin tuna. Very satisfied with our catch we were about to call it when line started screaming from the shot gun position, speedy head shaking runs and we knew we were into a nice one. Wahoo are very powerful fish and put up a tremendous fight no matter the size. This one came in hot and all lit up and earned his name, El Tigre.
