We have had warm weather in the mid-70s for the past week and the fish are reacting well. Fishing on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico in the Everglades national Park has been red hot. This time of the year we do a good bit of family fun fishing,  in other words we do a bunch of Rod bending the species list is amazing right now! Fantastic catches a Spanish mackerel Jack’s snappers of all kinds and occasional big barracuda. Family fishing is all about the hook up keeping rods bent and catching something for dinner that has been easy. Same type of action has been found on the shallow reefs in 20 to 30 feet of water on the Atlantic side of the keys.
