The Catch

Spring has arrived in St.Augustine Florida. Fishing has gotten Hot too! Yesterday we fished the out going tide targeting Redfish after traveling up one of the numerous tidal creeks that we have in the St. Augustine area we power poled down (anchored) across from a large exposed live oyster bar. Using small weighted jigs tipped with live Shrimp and live mud minnows we fan casted the length of the oyster bar   The tide was falling slowly and as the jigs bounced along with the tide we had our first strike after 4 or 5 minutes Bob and his friend from Indiana tom landed a fat 25 inch Redfish we fished that spot for an hour or so and caught Redfish between 16 and 25 inches along with a few Sea Trout we had lots of action and Bob And Tom were here on Spring Break and didn’t want too keep any Fish so we let them all go except one that I will surely eat for dinner it was a Fun fishing Trip
