Fishing report 3/11/16

March 11, 2016 by Cold Steel Sportfishing

Trip Info

We are entering our spring Steelhead season on the Salmon river. Fish are starting to spawn and will dropback through the river to lake Ontario, aggressively feeding on their way. Fishing has been slower. But as water temps warm and spawning concludes it will pick up! Late March through April will be good!!
Brown trout fishing along the lake Ontario shorelines has started. We are using our small boats, as we prepare our larger charter boat for spring launch. The catch will be mainly Browns for now. But as things warm up and we start using our larger boat, rainbows, Lake trout & a few salmon will be caught.
