So far March has been a great month for fishing. The recent warm weather has brought a feeding frenzy in the backcountry which has lead to some incredible fishing trips. I normally set out before sunrise to collect great baits for my clients so we can start fishing right away when we leave the dock in the morning. Many Redfish have been caught this month with some larger fish reaching into the mid 30 inches.

The Snook bite has been amazing as well with multiple trips producing fish in excess of 30 inches. Catching 20+ Snook in a morning hasn’t been uncommon and should continue to be the case for the next few months. Looking forward to the Tarpon and Permit bite heating up in the next few weeks.
