Snapper (Red)

Had the a great trip today , with bob and John had not Been snapper fishing in 10 years . Sea’s were 1 to 2’ and calmed as the morning went on . First spot we tried we caught only small undersized snaps . Fishing cut bait and squid .Went and tried the next spot and it was on first fish was a solid 18lb snapper . Ended up with 2 @18 lbs and the rest of their limit where 3 to 6 pounders . It was a great trip all in all and both fishermen left with some of the best eating fish that come out of the gulf
And booked a trip for next month before they left .
