The Catch
Marlin (Blue)
Summary

Another fantastic day out fishing in the Tasman Sea. The are big numbers of Marlin and Mahi Mahi about and lots of huge bait schools.

The seas have been reasonably settled for all of March and now April, which the darkes blue water and a sea surface temperature of 27.2C. Find the bait and we find the Marlin. They are feeding and ready to bite on anything we through them right now.

This week we have tagged and released six big 160kg plus fish close to shore. Caught lots of 8 to 12 kg Mahi Mahi and lots of stripped tuna.
