Estero Bay Great Weather, Better Fishing

The Catch
Shark (Blacktip)

Perfect weather, great tides, and large fish describe yesterday’s fishing trip. Redfish are feeding heavy and have been around mangrove shorelines. Snook can be found not far from them either and many slot and overslot snook have been caught.

Tarpon are starting to show up and they are a blast to catch. As the weather continues to warm up, so will these juvenile tarpon. This means countless opportunities to catch one on spinning gear and fly outfits.
