Barramundi
Summary

This trip the weather was kind to us all the way. We stopped for a pelargic fish on the way and got on to some good Mackerel. Once at our destination we set the crab pots and headed off to chase some Barramundi. As there is alot of fresh water in the river the bigger fish had moved out to the salt. It was good however, to see some good numbers of smaller fish. Sizes from 20cm - 70cm. It was also the cooks birthday and she was treated to a day on the water. Champayne was to be opened for her first legal landed fish. By lunchtime I was getting a little nervous I had lost my knack. By the end of the day I had landed 2 x 65cm Barramundi, one of which was foul hooked so took abit of effort to land. Had a great day, Thanks to Viv and the rest of the crew for making it such fun.
