A trip for two!!
Today we fished in the Gulf of Mexico on a Nearshore adventure.  The couple was from Georgia and they wanted to see a variety of fish and take a few home for dinner. So we started the day with the wind blowing pretty good out of the North, which makes the Gulf slick right on the beach. The problem is the further you go out the rougher it can become,  so with that in mind we started fishing some in close fishing spots less than 4 miles off the beach which is a very short boat ride .
The first stop started producing fish immediately,  triggers and much go’s where coming in the boat four at a time. Even for small fish 14-18” trigger fish can fight extremely hard. The rods were staying bent and the clients were keeping smiles on there faces. They couldn’t believe they were catching fish every drop and most of the time they came in two’s.
White snappers, Vermillion snappers, Red snappers and triggers were the variety we caught on this trip.
We managed to catch around 75 fish with two ppl fishing.  It was a great trip for this couple from Georgia and I am sure it will not be a fishing trip that they forget anytime soon.  Loving what I do, doing what I love!!
