The Catch
Speckled Trout

Capt. Will has been fishing Espiritu Santo Bay between Port O’Connor and Seadrift during the month of April.  The speckled trout have transitioned from the grass beds of the back lakes and marshes onto scatter shell and mud along the bay front shore line.  Fish have been actively eating topwater lures and live shrimp with a popping cork once located.  Capt. Will has been catching limits and near limits of speckled trout on every outing during the last week and the fishing should only get better as water temps continue to rise.  Capt. Will has availability for Flats Fishing trips on 4/21, 4/25, 4/26, and 4/27.
