Reds & Trout

Trip Summary

We fished July 4th. Yep, busiest boat traffic imaginable! The guys brought the girlfriends and ended up good for everyone. ( Keep the chics happy and still get to fish). Waded flats in front of marsh drains on outgoing tide and caught solid reds , a few keeper trout and a bunch of undersized trout, all on chicken-on-the-chain mirrorlure little jons. Water is hot! Starting to target drop offs to wade or drift close to deeper water. Fish are still in the usual spots, just a little scattered and will be grouped up in deep holes near usual spots! Haha, make sense?
