Speckled Trout

The speckled trout bite continues to be very good in the Port O’Connor area with limits had again today by our customers.  Additionally, black drum made their way in to the box to.  This made for a full and exciting day of catching with nice fillets taken home to top it off.  All fish were caught on popping cork that had a Texas Rattlin’ Rig Mini Chatter Weight attached and a live shrimp as bait.  The fish were located while drift fishing scatter shell in 3’ of water.
