We heads out of Wrights Landing in Oswego,NY around 6:30am. We started off with a spread of shallow running smithwick rouges looking for surface feeding Browns before the sun got to high. We wound up taking one bite on a TX-6 church inline planer towing a black and silver smithwick.
With clear skies and no wind the bite was tough. We then put out a few Michigan Stinger spoons and captured a few more trout with our biggest being 8lbs.
With better conditions the bite will get very good.
