The Catch
Coral Trout
Snapper (Mangrove)
Spanish Mackerel

The last few weeks have shown a diversity in off shore weather conditions from 10-15 to fresh to frightening Fishing the reef islands and wrecks last week has seen a great number of Coral Trout, Large Mouth Nannygai and some thumping Mangrove Jacks caught on whole pilchards and live bait and with a few Spanish Mackerel and Cobia hitting the soft plastics it makes for a good session out on the water, its always good to have a rod setup with a soft plastic for cobia as they will quite often approach your boat as you arrive on your fishing area,  fillet cobia sprinkle brown sugar over it let it marinate for a few hours then place it in your smoker if you haven’t got one your local tackle shops sell them you will be amazed how good they are !
