Summary

Took my regular client Bill fishing the other day on a last minute charter. The weather looked great, but I knew we would have to get our fishing in quickly before the winds picked up. We made a short run a as expected found some birds working on top of tailing redfish. I shut down and slowly poled in on the fish. Bill made a perfect cast and was instantly on. I also joined the party and hooked up instantly. Five minutes of fishing and two reds in the boat. We worked that area a for a little longer and pulled out a two more reds. The next thing we did was check out this area that has been holding big trout. We caught two nice trout on top water and as expected the winds really started to pick up. We poled a few other areas and managed to land a few more reds and missed a few more good strikes. Fishing could be any better right now and as the weather heats up so is the fishing!
