We departed from Ponce Inlet with a special request for grouper. Calm seas and light current made for easy pickin’ as we boated 3 gag grouper by noon including a 51 pound kicker. Unfortunately the sharks got bad later in the day and forced us inshore. Fortunately, we quickly found the fish again and loaded up with schoolie Mahi that swam by the boat while catching triggerfish on the bottom. The water is slowly beginnjng to cool down which should result in more excellent bottom fishing!
