We just experienced our first big cold front dropping the temperature over 20 degress overnight and bringing stiff 20+mph winds out the NNE so I knew we had to fish some protected water and deeper holes. Saturday I had some great repeat customers in town from Missouri so there was no stopping this trip and crew from chasing trout regardless of the conditions. We made 3 quick stops with nothing to show for it but on stop number 4 we hit paydirt getting on a very steady speckled trout and white trout bite. It lasted for the next couple hours as we brought 100+ fish in the boat, with multiple double and triple hookups. There were a lot of small fish around so we had a lot of throwbacks but the guys were able to bring home over 40 trout to freshly fry up for dinner!
