Morning Charter
May 7th, 2016
It seem like the wind brought, Sean Wilt and his Stepson Cody from Florida, to San Juan Bay. Sean is a Bass Tournament Coordinator among other things, as an avid fishermam, I wanted to make a good showing. As always we made bait quickly and headed out to the open bay, on the first drift we got a tarpon bite an lost it quickly, on that same drift, Cody put us on the board with a fine Jack crevalle specimen. As I worked the bait balls near a drop off, Cody struck again with another Jack and that is when the trash talking began! Sean got another bite but it wasn’t meant to be, final tally Cody 2 and Sean 0! The wind was the protagonist the rest of the morning, but it was a good one. We all bonded and solve half of the worlds problems! It goes to show, that in Puerto Rico Tarpon Connection, fishing is good rain, wind or shine…
