November- Lafitte & Shell Beach/Hopedale
November 14, 2020 St. Bernard 5 photos

Trip Summary

November has been a pretty solid month for fishing in Shell Beach and Lafitte! Despite the fronts, we've been able to pattern a lot of redfish and bass in the marsh on the windy days, along with specks on the calmer days as well. Lots of redfish being caught, and we've been doing so 100% with artificials... no need for live bait! Tons of spunky bass are mixed in with the redfish as well, which makes for a pretty fun day. This pattern should continue into January, along with specks moving into the deeper channels and bayous on chilly days and adjacent flats and bays on warmer days.
