In order to maintain a high success rate we need to constantly explore new fishing areas. After a brief brain storming with the staff, we decided to try out some dredging dumping areas, that should be acting as underwater structure, atracting baitfish and also big predators. Our educated guest paid off, finishing the day with 4 slot snooks and numerous Peacock. The high point of the day was a big Manatee tha rolled just in front of the boat while we slow trolling. A full day fishing packed with action, Peacocks and Snooks were hitting trolled lures and live bait. Both of our guest had the chance to reel in some good fish. Fishing was nothing short of spectacular. A full day of action was complemented with a visit to Monkey Island were our guest had the chance to interact up close with some white faced Capuchin Monkeys. At the lodge we made a fish fry where our guest tasted Oscar, Peacock and some delicious Snook. The bite in the lake is on fire, Book now and enjoy the last days of the dry season. Have a great week!
