The Catch
Snapper (Red)
Triggerfish (Gray)

The water was absolutely beautiful.  We motored to the South and hit up on some Amberjack.  We jigged for AJs and they were everywhere…unfortunately they were under 34”.  They still gave a good fight.  We also hooked into some triggers as well as a very large snapper.  Snapper season is not open yet and it was sad to see this big boy go back to the deeps.  Maybe I will see him again after June 1.

On the return trip we lucked out and spotted at least 50 dolphin swimming.  My anglers took lots of photos as the dolphin swam next to the boat for quite a long time.  They were slapping their tails on the water and jumping out.  What a show!!!  The anglers had paid for a dolphin trip the day before and were surprised at how many dolphin were around the boat on this day.
