Tarpon Time

Trip Info

It was early morning when we stopped at our first spot.  We were in maybe 8 feet of water. The Tarpon have been rolling and catching their breath on the surface.  My client Mrs D. pitched out her line 50 feet from the boat and popped the bait.  The fish hit it hard then jumped and took her for an 1 hour and 15 minute ride. It jumped and tried to shake the hook out from its mouth many times.  Mrs D was exhausted with the fight. She brought the fish to the boat and we released it.  Way to go Mrs D.  What an awesome day.  Congratulations on your first Tarpon.
