The Catch
Speckled Trout

The long day Sunday led to a late start on Monday with a strong east wind but didn’t stop the action.  We got out live shrimp and were on the water by 6:45.  We headed to our first location and the trout bite was on.  We landed several 2 lb fish in the first spot and watched a couple big ones slip away within 10 feet of the boat.  There is a 4 plus pound trout still swimming around with a pink Unfair lure on his mouth.  We came in took a break and went back to catch the evening bite.  We fished a couple locations and ended up catching about 69 fish in the evening, a combination of white and speckled trout. The anglers brought home about 35 total.
