Trip Info

On the evening of march 4th we had constant action.  Dan, his daughter and husband kept the rods bending. we started out by hitting some seawalls that have had a lot of fish in them lately. there has been alot of bait around and these fish were eager to eat something that looked a little bit different. It didn’t take long for the first mullet to get slammed and the fight was on.  Couple minutes later a 20 lb jack cravelle came boat side and was netted.A picture was taken and the fish released. this sequence of events happened until dark.We tallied 6 jacks before sundown. two jacks came at the same time. this happened by one jack being hooked and another being tail wrapped. I have never seen this before. I told Dan ” he needs to buy a lotto ticket.” after the jack action we decided to fish some dock lights using live shrimp and varies Hogy Lures combinations. We ended up with 3 snook, a trout, and some ladyfish. over all had an awesome time and looking forward to fishing with Dan again.
