The Catch
Grouper (Gag)
Triggerfish (Gray)

This has to be the most beautiful day we have had this season!!  The seas were flat and we were able to motor out to several different spots to the South.  We did butterfly jigging for amberjacks and were able to get a few to respond.  We also moved to another spot where we caught ambereens and 2 very large trigger fish.  The final fish was a very very large gag grouper.  Matt dropped down and when he hit the bottom he thought he was on the bottom.  After several attempts to pull in the line (of course everyone is going Reel, Reel!!!) he said he couldn’t reel.  We were able to hook the line to the boat and get that rascal out of his hole.  He came up reluctantly but when he surfaced everyone was excited about this huge catch.  After I told them they had to put it back (fish was out of season)  they were still glad for the catch but were wanting to take it home for the grill!!!  The catch list for the day is Ricky:  1 Snapper, 1 AJ, 1 Trigger;  Emily:  1 AJ, 1 Ambereen; Matt was excited with his AJ, 1 trigger & the mega grouper.  Ricky caught 1 trigger, 1 AJ & 1 Ambereen.  What a day.  Everyone was excited and wanting to do it all over again!!!
