We stated next to the rocks in 23 feet of water. We made several drifts looking to catch more than 2 in a drift. We didn't so we moved to some flat area with a hard bottom and the same depth. It worked better. Tim managed to catch a 13" perch. That's the largest I've had on "the Z".

Dan visiting from Australia, had shown Tom how they fish in Australia. Now it was Tom who was showing Dan how we do it on lake Erie. Guess who caught the most---Dan.

Jimmy asked if the crew could be picked up in Put In Bay. On a week day there was no problem. We went east for 8 miles or so and started fishing. The southern wind blew us towards Canada. It was strong enough for the bouncers to work well. The entire crew figured out how to catch the fish near the bottom. We ended up with their limit and some of John's and mine when Jimmy said it was time to go. We all had fun.
