Winter is waning and spring conditions are showing up in the marsh right now! Gauges show water temps in the low 60s right now but sun and warm weather have the shallow flats a bit higher than that. While most schools if redfish are still intact, their appetite has been noticeably increasing! Were starting to see bait show up more prominently and redfish have been much more active and aggressive in the shallows. This makes for really exciting activity around lower tide stages and catch rates have been improving nicely! Its a great time to book a trip before the crowds start hitting the water!

We've had some recent cold snaps come through that push fish into tighter schools and make them a little more spooky, but these cold snaps have been quick-lived with warmer days prevailing! For the most part, the days have been pleasant with warm temperatures and abundant sunshine, making for happy clients (and guides!) and happier fish!
