Trip Summary

It seems like we have gotten into our summer fishing pattern over the last week. The slow trolling has been decent to very good. We have been catching king mackerals everyday, as well as a mahi or cobia every once in a while. The only thing we are missing this summer is the pogies (menhaden) which we typically use for live bait when slow trolling. Thankfully though, the fish like a dead cingar ninnow trolled around 3 knots just as much. This time of year I reccomend 3/4 and 1/2 days for our trips. We can still do a full day trip, but many times the catch wouldnt have been much different on the full days had it been a 1/2 or 3/4. The 4 hour shark trips caught a couple sharks last week when it was to rough to get offshore. The croakers, whiting, and trout were biting almost instantly though. These fish are only 3-10” but are great for kids and to pass time while wating on a shark to bite one 1 of the shark rods. Thanks for reading! Feel free to contact me with any questions about our trips or styles of fishing we do!! Joey
