Trip Summary

We started out high speed trolling for about 2 1/2 hours then we began the bottom fishing. The fish bite started out kinda of slow but the groupers were biting. Then we moved back north about 10 miles and its was caios for 30 minutes. We landed 27 red snapper in this short time. it was a great trip with some really good people. It has been a very slow bite for a few weeks now. The red snappers are dealing with a lot right now. Full moon, spawning and a unprecedented amount pressure. We are still catching fish but we are having to pull some old tricks out of the bag.

We had a great group with us today on the Eagle Express. We used spoons and planners for our trolling technique today and it produced a lot of fish. It's always a great thing to have a fun day on the water and catch a mess of fish.
