Slots Inshore and a Bull on the Rocks
We got on a decent inshore bite for redfish with a high outgoing tide Sunday morning. Popping corks with shrimp did the trick on a dozen or so with reds with a few for the table.
After the inshore bite slowed down. We ran to the beach located the sparse pogy pods. Two throws of the net and we had the bait we needed. The jetty bite was not on fire but produced a STUD of a bull for us. This fish went 38” and was a beautiful pumpkin color. Fun half day in July for sure!
