Gulfstream/Offshore: We are still seeing some action with Mahi and Blackfin tuna, along with an occasional Wahoo, while trolling the Gulf Stream off Wrightsville/Carolina Beach. Both rigged ballyhoo and bait less lures have been producing good numbers.  Mahi bite has been the best.
Offshore: 15-25 mile range were catching good numbers of Mahi and King Mackerel in these areas, we are catching both on small ballyhoo trolled with Fathom Offshore skirt rigs we can troll faster and cover more ground than when trolling with cigar minnows. Dead cigar minnows, ballyhoo, and artificial trolling lures will fool the Kings and Mahi.
Nearshore: We are connecting with some Flounder on live baits and Spanish mackerel, Bluefish, while casting metal jigs around the jetties.
While trolling we are catching solid numbers of Spanish mackerel 1-5 miles off Wrightsville, and we are catching them while trolling Clarkspoons and Spanish Daisies behind planers, trolling sinkers, and birds. The fish will also bite metal jigs when anglers find larger feeding schools.
